The Sila National Park is a wonderful place to discover, full of fascinating itineraries and exciting landscapes. Mountains and enchanted valleys, beautiful plants and a wide variety of animals, are a heritage of biodiversity that deserves to be loved, and above all protected.
The origins of Sila are the result of geological epoch even more remote than the Apennine orogeny.
The silane landscape is the result of the particular physical environment, diverse and poorly tormented, on which fits a diverse wildlife, a complex vegetation and moderate human presence, which are interacting systems. It shows a plurality of landscapes ranging from mountainous and hilly type to that to that level divided into alluvial valley and terraces.
